To Our Hero:

All fairy tales have a few things in common.  They start with the words “Once Upon a Time,” they end with the words “Happily Ever After,” they all teach us a lesson, and they all have a hero. Heroes have distinctive traits. They are all smart, strong, courageous and selfless and they are full of an enormous amount of love. You are a hero in our eyes.  You are using all your power, strength, courage and faith to choose a family for your child. We believe that children are truly a gift from God and we promise to love your child, unconditionally and we would be honored and blessed to have you become part of our “Happily Ever After.”

In 2005 I was diagnosed with Hopkins disease and have been in remission for over 10 years now.  This experience has taught me to enjoy every day and to trust God.  During this time God gave me two of the greatest blessings of my life, I met my future husband Randy and his daughter Abbigail from his first marriage.  Being a wife and mother are my greatest life accomplishments and I can’t wait for another child to join our family.

The love of reading is something Randy and I have shared with our daughter, Abbigail, since she was a little girl. At night we would all cuddle in her bed and read our favorite stories. Many of the stories have a lesson that she will carry with her for life.  We can’t wait to share the same books and lessons with a new little one.

“It’s today, squeaked Piglet.  My favorite day, said Pooh.” -Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Lesson: That every day is a gift from God.  Enjoy every moment and treasure every memory.

“Smile and the world will smile right alongside you.” -Molly Lou Melon
Lesson: At times life will give you what seems like a thousand reasons to cry but show the world you have countless blessings to smile about. A smile is a gift you can give to someone.

“It’s belief in ourselves that helps us take flight”- Buzzy the Bumblebee
Lesson: No matter what others may think or say, you can do anything you set your mind to.

“To live would be an awfully big adventure.” - Peter Pan
Lesson: Don’t be afraid to try new things.  If you get knocked down, get up and try again.

Bedtime stories are always followed with hugs, kisses, “I love you’s” and bedtime prayers.  Every night we pray for you.
We pray that you will be healthy and strong and that your heart will be filled with courage, faith, joy, hope and love.  But most of all, we pray that you are surrounded by God’s love and know you are loved.

With Love and Respect,
Randy and Aimee
